POEM FOR MOTHER.

                   

For as long as I can remember

You have been an incredible

Presence in my life

The doting mother

A role you were born to play

And still play so well today

Whenever I need someone

To talk to

How clever you are 

Always knowing 

When I need advice

Or perhaps, just an ear to listen

It's funny, in my entire lifetime

I have never entered a room in your presence

Without seeing your entire face light up

Only you, Mom do that for me

And it makes me feel so loved 

Mom, you mean the world to me!
